A member of the YoungBloodZ, Atlanta rapper Sean Paul (aka Sean P) appeared on series of hit R&B and hip-hop singles before introducing his solo career properly with the single "Everywhere We Go." Paul formed the YoungBloodZ with his good friend J-Bo while the two were attending Miller Grove Middle School in Decatur. Between 1999-2005 the group kept a slow pace, releasing only three albums on the LaFace label and freeing up Paul for numerous guest shots, including Cherish's "Do It to It," Lil Jon's "Snap Yo Fingers," and Sammie's "You Should Be My Girl." "Everywhere We Go" appeared in 2007 along with the mixtape Hood Anthems. Early the next year it was announced he was going to be using the name Sean P to avoid confusion with dancehall singer Sean Paul. The name was to be rolled out on Sean P's official solo debut album planned for release in 2008. ~ David Jeffries, Rovi
