seaofsin’s origin dates back to early ‘90s, when Emidio Di Loreto (aka Ivan Oglomov) and Giuseppe Casasanta, both sharing a common interest and passion for Depeche Mode and British synth-pop music of the early 80s, decided to join forces and start a musical project.
In this period, the duo wrote several synth-pop/dance influenced tracks, however Emidio’s baritone voice, the usage of the English language and lyrics mainly focusing on “decadent” themes and “existentialism” all contributed to add a darker, almost melancholic style to the songs.
Despite several “live” performances, no “official” material is recorded in this period.
seaofsin’s last “live” show dates back to April 1996; in this occasion, three new more pop-oriented songs – for the first with Italian lyrics - are played.
After a 15-years hiatus, the two friends decide to give new life to their old project and they start re-arranging old songs and writing new material.
On February 2016 they meet with Dr.Greenthumb, audio engineer, producer and member of Sixty Drops who – after listening to demos of a few songs - encourages them to record their first EP "Timeless" which has been released 20th Jan 2017.
