Seaside Bailout

Seaside Bailout continues to be a dual effort project, created by Jake Messina & Jason Laughton, for the sole purpose of spreading good vibes! Jake resides in Orlando, FL with his wife & daughter, and is responsible for the chill east coast back beats, keys, and audio mixing portion of this project. Jason (J-Byrd) developed his surf rock style growing up in LA, but currently resides in OKC with his wife and 2 kids. Simply put, J-Byrd is a master of melodies and has laid down all the guitar, bass, & vocals for SSB.


In 2005, the two musicians met in the middle of the country at the University of Oklahoma. Now that they live 1000 miles apart, SSB has produced a unique album, by laying down individual tracks and sending them back and forth, tweaking each note hundreds of times, until each song had the precise amount of chill.


Whereas their previous album's lyrics stemmed heavily from breakups and things of the past, "Blue Ocean Flow" celebrates the new, the vibrant, catching a wave, living on the coast, spending time with family & friends, and all things positive! You'll find that each song on this album has an undeniable head-bobbing hook. Let it take you for a ride.
