Hopping onto his latest track 'bit', alt-pop singer songwriter Shahrae tells the other side to the story.
Inspired by the sounds of synth-wave and 80's vocal stylings to the likes of Robert Smith and Phil Collins, ‘bit’, both an acronym and a homage to 80's computer architecture 8 BIT, is a story of a past relationship that has been dead for a long time, until the moment they’re back in town. With the addition of Shahrae, the two vocals match harmoniously to give new life to the previously released track.
Accompanied by a synth-wave inspired visualiser, the track becomes a letter of love to Melbourne, with hope of being 'back in town' once again soon.
