Sebastian Vivian's records sound like a score for a solo hike up a Patagonian landscape. Symphonic production at heart that is unassuming but grandiose in doses. He uses string instruments and Ableton as tools to experiment with sound design. The process alone is fulfilling for Sebastian:

“I look at it as exploring a medium and seeing how far i can push it, as opposed to starting with an established idea. I think this allows for an interesting outcome because the music comes out of the circumstances and to me it feels more natural. I guess my approach is more about exploration and my process than specifically trying to mould my music into something that was in my head from the start.”

Sebastian’s music made its way in short films created by his classmates down the hall, and scoring films with chamber music arrangements was a natural next step for the young Aussie, who himself writes and directs film. And despite having almost no online presence, he’s been called upon to support artists <a href="spotify:artist:6kic5bCjlohhDn9KzXbOta" data-name="Clark">Clark</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:06xa1OLBsMQJFXcl2tQkH4" data-name="Machinedrum">Machinedrum</a>. Sebastian performs with a string quartet at WOMADelaide, an annual world music &amp; dance festival in held in Botanic Park, Adelaide.
