Secrecy

SECRECY born in 2000 in Valongo Portugal.


In 2001, Secrecy looked in a new compilation "Bandas de Garagem" with Coca-Cola and FNAC promoters, they recorded a new song named "Falling". After, Secrecy reached 2nd place in a "Unplugged 2002 conquest” and they are one of the favourite portuguese Darkwave bands, performing along with Inkubus Sukkubus (UK), Sanguis et Cinis (CH). Secrecy band becomes the one of the first choice to act in "Outubro Negro event" promoted by the Chiado FNAC Store (Lisbon).


SECRECY released their first album "Beneath the Lies" under the Ethereal Sound Works label. The album was recorded in "Rec'n'Roll" studios, produced by Luis Barros (Tarantula) and mastered by Tommy Newton in the Area51 studios (DE).


Vilar de Mouros 2005 Fest, Hard Club (Porto) and Santiago Alquimista (Lisbon) were the headlined of the "Beneath the Lies" tour.


The second album´s band was recorded in 2008 in “Studios 213”, produced by Bruno Silva (Heavenwood) and mastered by Mika Jussila in the “FinVox Studios” (FI).
The album named "Of Love and Sin" was released in 2009 under the Ethereal Sound Works label. The promotion tour had "Lisbon Dark Fest" and opening act for the “Star Industry” (BE) as headline.


SECRECY reappeared in 2019, 15 years after releasing the first album "Beneath the Lies" with a new line-up including 3 original band members, keeping the band's legacy and alive as well as their sound and atmosphere.
