Sedge Edge

A Passionate singer / songwriter / guitarist / recording artist / from Ashbourne, Derby U.K.... lyrics driven , story telling songs , mainly from the heart and from the world we live in and from the world he has experienced. Indie and original songs, both words and music, yet he leans sometimes into the retro sounds that shaped his life , as he was music crazy from a very young age, 6 years old , playing his father's 45 rpm singles..beatles, kinks, small faces, the Who ,the rolling stones.. these turned into the stone roses, the smiths, the cure, the charlatans , happy Mondays, Squeeze and more recently jake bugg, artic monkeys, the Gallagher brothers various projects , hot chip, the stereophonics ect. He writes for his emotional wellbeing, almost his therapy and records for a place where his songs are accessible for his family and friends. If anybody else listens or likes them , he absolutely appreciates this! And it is what inspires him to carry on writing and recording...""ORIGINAL SONGS SUNG FROM THE HEART .... FROM THE HEART OF ENGLAND U.K. BUT WITH AN AMERICAN TWANG!""... he hopes you engage with him , in his journey.
