Seirios

Seirios is a genre-fusing groove metal band based in Oslo, Norway! The band was formed by Guitarist-vocalist Theo Sørli Blom and Bassist Nikolai Sannum Martinov in 2021. The duo met up with drummer Sondre Lia Aase at a local cultural arrangement for music, dance and art called UKM(Ung kultur møtes), in May 2023. In January 2024, drummer Sondre introduced Jonathan to the band, who offered to take on rhythm duties on guitar to expand their sound. With an added member to the lineup, the band would go on to play local gigs and festivals before entering the studio in late 2024 to record their debut single, SHAME.

Seirios takes inspiration from acts such as Gojira, Sepultura, Mastodon, and many more. The band fuses elements of many metal subgenres, like Progressive metal, Death metal and Industrial metal, blending a style heavily oriented around catchy and heavy Grooves

Seirios´ first studio release, the new single SHAME was released on 21.01.2025, and received positive feedback from fans and social media outlets such as SLASH MUSIC.

DISINTEGRATE will be out on all major streaming platforms accompanied by an animated lyric video 25.07.2025. With this release, the band enters a new era of a more experimental and ambitious approach during production and songwriting.
