Sekzy, Sekou Alieu Kosiah was born in Montserrado county in Liberia, on the West African coast in 1995. He grew up in a small town called Lola in Guinée Conakry, where he attended
islamic and english school. During his teenager years he moved to Europe to join his father in
Switzerland where he started to develop his incredible talent for art and music.
His singing skills dwells from his early years as a young child, fishing with his childhood friends just to contribute into feeding his family.
The depth of his music is the proof of his interesting past, where he has to skip soccer as his passion to sit by the river and sing about his future.
In just a short space of time he has become known locally for his smooth vocals and infectious rhythms that fuse afro beat and dancehall, a style he calls It himself “AfroHall". Although the artist produces a concentrated form of musical vibration, he describes his music as this: “My art has no form if u ask me, because it's a combination of lot of element and when they fusion, the vibration that comes out of it hits very different.
He went even further and add:
“My art is uncontrollable; my personality isn't really different from what you see in my music video nowadays. I consider myself “a winner” no matter where I go or what others might think of me"
