Selena Summer, is a 24-year-old Indigi-queer musician. Ever since she could speak she has been putting on performances for her friends and family. Before she even reached school age, she received her first guitar from her grandfather and that began her music journey. Along the way she evolved from cover songs, to writing her own lyrics as an emotional outlet. In 2022, she released multiple singles including “my thoughts (for you)” and “criminal,” where she experiments between electronic pop, alternative and acoustic genres. No matter the genre, she just wants to share her thoughts and emotions in hopes that others can feel validated and seen, as that is what music has done for her.
