Selfdecay

Selfdecay é uma banda carioca independente de rock alternativo.


Seu primeiro álbum foi lançado em 2009, bem recebido e com bons elogios, inclusive do guitarrista do Red Hot Chili Peppers, John Frusciante. Em 2012 a banda lançou seu segundo álbum “Long Ago” e viajou para Los Angeles para compor e a gravar o EP experimental “The Son of Past and Future”, lançado em 2013.


Em 2015 a banda fez uma turnê de doze shows pela costa oeste dos Estados Unidos divulgando o álbum “A Green Acrobat”, considerado pela banda e pelos fãs o seu melhor trabalho até o momento. O álbum recebeu boas críticas em jornais dos EUA e rádios européias. Em 2020 a banda lançou o álbum "As Long As There Is" e uma série de gravações ao vivo em seu estúdio SDKLAB.




Selfdecay is an independent alternative rock band from Rio de Janeiro.


Their first album was released in 2009, well received, praised by Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante. In 2012 the band released their second album “Long Ago” and traveled to Los Angeles to compose and record the experimental EP “The Son of Past and Future”, released in 2013.


In 2015, the band toured twelve cities in the United States promoting the “A Green Acrobat” album, considered by the band and fans to be their best work so far. The album received good reviews in US newspapers and European radio. In 2020 the band released "As Long As There Is" and a series of live recordings at their SDKLAB studio.
