Psychedelic melodies , stuttering drums, and thunderous bass lines; Sellwhite produces a fusion of Trap, DarkPlugg, RnB, Chill Hop, Afro Beats, and Breakcore which he coins 'Nu Trap'.

Justin was born on May 1st, 2001 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Good music with strong compositions were instilled at a young age from his mother; growing up he became familiar with artists such as Alicia Keys, T-Pain, Ashanti, and Timbaland then later Skrillex, Kendrick Lamar, and Speaker Knockerz. At 15, He began to program short drum loops for his cousins to rap over using FL Studio; inspired by Metro Boomin and Lil Uzi Vert. Shortly after, he picked up the guitar at 18; which taught him to write original melodies. At 20, He started his own punk band influenced by bands like Title Fight, Mom Jeans, and Oso Oso and returned to programming drums on his computer; now with more developed compositions and arrangements.

After sharpening his production skills and picking up a few new ones: such as singing, piano, and the drums, He built his own home studio after having to relocate due to Hurricane Helene. At 24, He transformed into a production powerhouse; not only empowering himself but other local musicians to create and release ground breaking music for all.
