Semtam is a dog who likes to fly through your playlist on his magical bone. In the year 2000 he landed on Earth and he hired a Prague based, Czech musician and producer, to help him with his music. They like to explore the usually harmonical combinations of sounds and rhytm. Those which will make you dance, think a bit and fly away a lot. There is hardly any genre or rhytm, in which Semtam stays long.
Album Optimists by Choice from the year 2013 was made together with amazing Zimbabwean singer Mannex Motsi and was nominated in the Czech music awards Anděl in the Ska/Reggae category.
The album from 2020 has taken more darker and slower approach to long time unfinished songs and also saying to the world, not to worry, that all we need is to take it slowly forward... back towards love and trust :)
