Amsterdam-based solo artist Senja Sargeant has been dazzling European fans with her fire-breathing vocals since her appearances on The Voice of Holland in ’20-’21, but she started making a name for herself back home in Canada nearly a decade earlier.
Formerly a member of Canadian Warner Music Canada act, Ladies of the Canyon, Sargeant's singing and songwriting abilities garnered critical acclaim with award nominations from Canadian Country Music Association and Radio Music Canada. The band toured extensively through Canada, the US and Europe, and opened for legends such as Kenny Rogers, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Alan Jackson and Lhasa de Sela.
Following her appearance on TVOH, Senja was introduced to lauded Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter/producer, Shane Alexander who would ultimately co-write and produce Sargeant’s Self-Titled EP.
The highly-anticipated album was released September 23, 2022.
