Eight-piece band that make a distinctive, different and unique songs and sounds, that’s us, Sentimental Moods. Starting from the friendship of two people involved in the musical project (around 2008-2009), Daniel Sukoco and Beni Adhiantoro.
These two friends have a same great desire on Ska, to make an unusual style of Ska in Indonesia. Until they finally agreed to make a Ska band with a different formulation from other Ska bands existing in the country at that time. This Ska band that they wanted to build must explore more in their musicality.
The band even includes a bold concept of instrumentalist (without lead vocal). Names like The Skatalites, Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, St .Petersburg Ska-Jazz Review, or The New York Ska-Jazz Ensemble, are some references when they formed a band.
