Separate Bed

Bosse Litsheim is a permanent member of the critically acclaimed band Ai Phoenix. As a multi- instrumentalist he has also become a sought-after musical collaborator. For a number of years he has toured and worked in studios with artists such as St. Thomas and Hotel Hotel. Together with producer Robert Jønnum, Bosse was central in developing what would eventually characterize the soundscape of St.Thomas. Bosses slow banjo riff-picking has become a signature on songs such as Cornerman, Take A Dance With Me, Into The Forest, and helped make the album I’m Coming Home an immortal classic. He was also central to, and made a huge impact on, St. Thomas later album Hey Harmony, recorded in Nashville together with several members of Lambchop and Neutral Milk Hotel.

Separate Bed is Bosse's first solo project, where he has worked on songs in collaboration with Tarjei Thomassen and Robert Jønnum (Kings Of Convenience, St. Thomas). The self-titled album was released on Apollon Records October 14 2022, presenting several collabs, including three tracks featuring electro-acoustica artist Mari Kvien Brunvoll (Hubro/Jazzland).

On Separate Beds latest album Substandards, Bosse Litsheim are joining forces with Frode Fivel, a legend in the scandinavian underground scene, known from Hello Goodbye and collaborations with Euroboys Knut Schreiner
