Sera

Sera an alternative pop/rock band from Brisbane. Sera officially launched in February 2016 with the release of their debut single, Doubt Around Me. This single earned the band rotation on local radio stations 4ZZZFM and 96.5FM and in April, Sera worked with Griffith students to pull together their first ever film clip. The planning took one week with the filming taking three days across 30 locations ending with a staggering 47 set-ups for the shoot. Since then Sera have released their second single, Write A Story, and are about to release their third single, Silhouette.

Sera’s music is nostalgic of the 80s and 90s with influences such as John Mayer, Coldplay and Blondie just to name a few. The music and lyrics are most often written by frontwoman, Eloise Mitchell, and taken into the rehearsal studio for the band to work on together. The end result is a cohesive and tight sound with a flavour from each band member.

Having played together for the better part of 8 years, Sera have proven their dedication and professionalism across stage and studio. Together they have a combined festival experience of over 6 years and have played at various festivals including the Teneriffe and Caxton Street Food & Wine Festival’s.
