Istanbul-based DJ/producer Serenay Alkan works on electronic music production/mixing and performance. Serenay regularly broadcasts on Radio2019, the first electronic music radio in Turkey, every Sunday. She also studied piano and voice for many years. She released her first single from Ear Porn Records and later signed a contract with Suah Records in Germany and released her original tracks through this company. Since 2016, she has performed numerous live shows at many concerts and festivals with prominent names of electronic music such as Stavroz, Oscar And The Wolf, Sofi Tucker, Henry Saiz, Whomadewho, Aaryon, Hvob, Giorgia Anguili, Animal Picnic, Red Axes, Township Rebellion, Unders, Agents Of Time, Drume Stone, Teho, Hyenah, Finne Bassen, Hugo Kant, Boho Jaw, Lunar Plane, FNX Omar, Andereas Moles, Babetta and Miamendi. In addition to these, Serenay continues to produce her own music while performing and producing with the 3-female electronic music group Sound of Ladies, in which live electric guitar, saxophone and vocal arrangements are added on electronic infrastructures.
