Sergio Chierici is an Italian composer and musician whose work spans contemporary classical music, electronic experimentation, and ambient soundscapes.
A graduate in piano, organ, and composition, as well as literature with highest honors, he studied with internationally renowned teachers and has received awards in both composition and piano performance.
He is a music high school professor of Music Technologies and Organ, inspiring new generations through a blend of classical tradition and sonic innovation.
His musical output is divided into four creative paths:
Classic and Avantgarde (contemporary classical, organ, electroacoustic works)
Ambient and Alternative (experimental and narrative electronics)
His discography is distributed internationally by Sonus Label and Tactus. Recent published works include the electroacoustic suite LN Sei animali e una coda, the poetic triptych Fama / Ira / Pace, and Inconsapevole Amore Portato dal Vento.
Alongside composition and performance, he is active in organology, collaborating with Italy’s Ministry of Culture on the national catalog of historical instruments (ICCD – Rome), and working in the protection and documentation of historical pipe organs for national heritage authorities.
