Serial Milk was created in 2023 in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, a suburb of Montreal's greater region. Influenced by bands like Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins or The Strokes, the five of them wanted to shape their sound into something fresh and modern while keeping sounds from the 90's. This melting pot of ideas comes from Mattias Moquin (Rhythm Guitar), Lucas Guy (Lead Guitar), Louis-Joseph Cayer (Vocals and Guitar), Daniel Ayala Sanchez (Bass and back vocals) and Max-Antoine Hébert (Drums). They wish to make a name for themselves in the new indie and alternative rock scene.
