Serotonez was originally started in 2019 and was formed by two members, Aaron and Mark. By forming this new duo, they wanted to express a different and more alternative sound of Hardcore which was dubbed ‘Welshcore’ by the legendary former ‘BBC Radio 1’ host, Kutski. As of 2022, Mark runs the project, exclusively as a solo artist.
Mark has been a been a long-standing artist in the UK Hardstyle and Hardcore scene since 2007 under his Hardstyle alias, MCP. He has collaborated with many respected artists within the scene along the way; DJ Chuck-E, Vandall, Ed E.T & D.T.R, Tranz-Linquants (Aaron) to name a few.
Mark formed the ‘Serotonez’ duo with Aaron after collaborating on many releases together over various genres. Thanks to the alternative and modern touch that Aaron provides, they created a new dimension of sound that led Serotonez into the happier side of European Hardcore music.
As a solo artist, there are many exciting new projects on the horizon for Mark, focusing on the darker and harder side of European Hardcore.
