Seth Mitchell

Seth Mitchell is a songwriter and sideman within the Baltimore Bluegrass & Americana scene. After spending his formative years in rural southwest Pennsylvania, he studied music composition in college and has been recording and performing as a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist ever since. He is most commonly seen on guitar, upright bass, or mandolin.

In 2022 he launched and began performing as the Seth Mitchell Band, alongside longtime bluegrass bandmates to bring his original songs to life on stage.

An enthusiastic collaborator, he’s been an musical compatriot for numerous other original acts, including but not limited to Darlington, Charm City Cowgirl, Edgar Allen and the Poe Boys, Porch Setters Union, Dhevhan Keith, Ali Sky, City Boys, Butter Side Down, and the living legend and total badass, Sean Tiwanak.
