Hello,
My name is George Setka and I’ve been a singer song writer since I was 12 years old. I wrote a lot of music when I was younger but starting in December of 2009, I really started writing a lot now if I pick up the guitar, I write a tune every time. My Engineer Patrick Burkholder would come in the morning and say what are you working on and I would present him three to six songs I wrote the night before and he was amazed.

A few years back I was traveling to Croatia to see some of my family members, I went to Guitar Center before leaving to see my friend Seth Bass at GC Pro who I work with as a vender, I told him I wanted a small travel guitar, he suggested a Guitarele Half Guitar/ Half Ukulele. I took it with me and when I was in a little city called Banj on the Island of Pasman, Croatia, it was then started writing all these songs I couldn’t stop. Songs and styles I never thought were possible to write and completely different than my regular song writing style. All the songs on the Southbound CD were all written then.

I feel I’m really blessed as the group of musicians I work with are top notch, kind and loving and all in this for the music first, I hope you enjoy listening to them as we had recording them.
