The collective sound of producer mvdebytaz & singer-songwriter Davier. Based out of Queens, New York, the pair harnesses their Trinidadian roots and their love for introspective nighttime music to create the SEVENPM sound.
The sound of mvdebytaz can only be described as wishing you could share that tasty Pina Colada with your ex but it's 3AM, the beach is closed and you should probably go home. Just make sure you tune in or the drive won't quite be complete. His sound is influenced by years of playing steel pan and performing for the Adlib Steel Orchestra.
“Love for music really started with my parents at age 6, my mother enrolling me in piano lessons which gave me an understanding of music theory and later immersed in my family’s culture. At the time it felt so natural, as though destined for me. I hope to give you an experience that is not only timeless but relatable.”
Davier, bringing his love for storytelling, can often be described as moody and drawing from human experiences to give listeners something to confront, relate to, learn from or dance to.
“Confronting the brutal honesty about myself, I did not grow up learning music but have always been a keen observer and admirer of Rap, R&B and Alternative. I've been writing since my early teens and found that songwriting was an avenue that allowed me to expose the deepest parts of my conscious in a form that will hopefully outlive me. I just want you to enjoy the ride.”
