Sexton was born in Perth, Australia, and raised on sound playing instruments, singing in bands, and writing songs. But it was hip hop that lit the fuse. Her childhood dream was to move to America and make it big, but the 20+ hour flight made it feel impossible. She gave up the dream and spiraled into rebellion.
Everything changed when her family car collided with a stolen police vehicle at high speed, flipping over three cars and rolling more than fifteen times. Miraculously, she and her siblings survived. That near-death moment became her ignition point. She booked a one-way ticket and never looked back.
Landing in L.A. with no connections or safety net, Sexton clawed her way into the industry. Her breakout hit “Space” featuring TK Kravitz hit #9 on Billboard and became the #1 most added song at U.S. radio, with over 50 million streams.
She’s since collaborated with heavyweights like Chris Brown, Timbaland, Trippie Redd, Scott Storch, artists from YSL, Warren G and Too $hort, and opened for Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, The Migos, and Bryson Tiller for crowds of up to 15,000.
