Growing up in a musical household, SFROMWEST discovered many different genres as his mum is from a Caribbean background, and his dad playing in a psychedelic rock band. A massive influence for SFROMWEST was his brother's taste in music, introducing him to artists like 50 Cent and Kanye West as well as UK artists such as Kano & Ghetts. This is what sparked his interest in music production and he started to learn how to use Cubase and FL Studio from the age of 15.
From here, SFROMWEST became integrated in his local scene and started producing, mixing, and mastering for artists and performing in small venues. A career highlight so far was having his single 'Come Thru' played on Unity FM and his remix of 'Over' by Sabah Kenway on BBC Radio London.
Distributed through AWAL/SONY, SFROMWEST's new single 'Bad Like We' (out now) is the first of many to come.
