In 2015 he begins his journey as an artist.. In 2017 he starts producing his own music ..SG Trey is a Swazi born artist, songwriter and producer . He grew up listening to hip hop and house music.. Later on he fell in love with Afrobeat..

His music is a fusion of Afrobeat and Amapiano . Inspired by the likes of Omah Lay , Victony , Patoranking , Davido , Harmonize, Blaq Diamond ,Drake , Fridayy , Cassper Nyovest and Nasty C..
SG Trey realised his first EP project (7 TRACKS) in 26th Sept 2024..He has gained recognition from the likes of Aymos and Afrotraction.
