From a young age, Shahab Hussain aspired to be amidst the sky, “up there”. His disinclination towards academia resulted in him choosing a slightly altered, and musical, medium to soar higher. Along with his love for music, he dreamt of being a star, a muse, an inspiration to the melodious world.
A self taught musician, Shahab Hussain, at the age of 14 acknowledged his growing admiration for not just singing but also the musical instruments. As his connection with music intensified, he formed a band with his friends, which provided him a promising exposure in the musical world, opening his doors to many collaborations and opportunity. Besides performing with notable artists, he also appears on Jimmy Khan's - Tich Button, he was then recruited as a backing vocalist in Coke Studio, seasons 9, 10 11, 12 and 13.
Currently Shahab is working on his upcoming EP titled 'Dil pe na li jo' with Anas Alam Khan & Aziz Kazi at artists residency & recording studio A for Aleph in Karachi.
