Shai Sevin

Shai Sevin, a London-based artist, producer, and songwriter with Pakistani and Afghani roots, blends sharp beats and raw lyrics that echo the city's vibrant energy. Influenced by Michael Jackson, Jay-Z, Eminem, Missy Elliott, and Timbaland, Shai's passion for music started young, inspired by classics on Sunrise Radio.

Co-founder of Hip-Hop/R&B group Feng Shui, Shai helped shape their sound, reaching the MOBO Unsung semifinals. At ages 17-19, he hosted The Jump Off, a key night in London’s hip-hop scene. Self-taught in his home studio using Fruity Loops 3 and later Logic Pro, Shai produced tracks like "Semantics" (Amplify Dot & Kano) and "2-A-Side" (Wretch 32 & Swiss).

His credits include the anti-knife crime album *Don't Trigger* (2007) and collaborations with Jack Knight (Jay-Z, Usher), Hil St Soul (“Wash Away”), and Jessie J (“Big White Room”). Shai also produced Stylo G’s “My Yout,” a UK grime classic. Shai reflects "You Can Never Rush Greatness." Now, he's stepping into the spotlight with his own solo work.
