Sham1016 is a dynamic rap artist and song-writer hailing from South Central Los Angeles, infusing his music with captivating melodies, powerful storytelling, and uncompromising lyricism. His journey into the world of music was sparked by influential music videos from artists like Juvenile and Missy Elliott, but it was the tragic loss of his friend Kid Cali in 2016, amongst other friends and family, that propelled him to fully commit to his craft.
Drawing inspiration from a diverse array of musical icons such as Juvenile, Missy Elliott, Pharrell, Nipsey Hussle, Kendrick Lamar, Nas and Jay-Z, as well as from 90s/2000s R&B, Sham1016's music embodies a blend of Hip-Hop/Rap and R&B with a distinct style he describes as "Premium Shit Talking."
