Shehzad Choudhry, also known by the stage name “Shami Sosa” or mononym “Shami” is a multifaceted film, television, and music producer, as well as a mixed media artist based in Chicago, IL. With a masters degree in Public Administration and a passion for storytelling/content creation, Shami has collaborated with brands, corporations, public figures, and artists on both local and international stages, earning a reputation as a versatile & innovative force in the media landscape.
As a film & television producer, Shami is the lead force behind the Emmy Award-Winning “Destination" series, a travel & lifestyle show which airs nationally on the CBS network. His work in film & television is complemented by his achievements in the music industry, where he has worked in the studio (the legendary Chicago Recording Company) as an associate producer & assistant engineer for renowned artists and musicians such as Jacob Collier, Chance The Rapper, Jennifer Hudson, Kanye West, Mavis Staples, Lil Durk, Harvey Mason JR, The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, DJ Pierre, RAF Sapera, and many more.
