Shane is a Michigan-born singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has played thousands of live performances since the mid-1990s. He has played a variety of roles in various bands such as frontman, bassist, guitarist, and drummer. He now resides in Raleigh, NC, and is primarily focused on writing and recording. Some notable past projects include Grasshoppah, Jiff and the Choosey Mothers, and Zegg (all available on Spotify). Shane is not a purist who clings to any one genre. Songs often contain a variety of influences and can change from one song to the next. His vocal delivery is often rhythmic with an almost rap-like cadence. He has experimented with everything from alternative to zydeco but currently focuses on a more folk-influenced sound.
