Shane Garcia, or Shane G, is an indie singer-songwriter from Bulacan, Philippines. She began writing songs at the age of 13.
She started uploading her song covers on her YouTube channel in 2020 and began releasing her original songs on different streaming platforms. She's known for writing her own songs and continues to discover her music and creativity. Her debut single <a href="spotify:track:7vdhuVoCkjrZloFYc742RD" data-name="Loved">Loved</a> has reached more than 2,100,000 streams on Spotify, followed by <a href="spotify:track:4m95QWSvtP2VzZhen51NB9" data-name="Head Over Heels">Head Over Heels</a> at 360,000+.
In 2023, Shane G kept on exploring her sound as she released her new pop-rock single <a href="spotify:album:1ForkpkjBeeTqss2SA8Bl8" data-name="Peligro">Peligro</a>. She wrote this 'hugot' song with the thought of being careful in decision-making, especially when it comes to love. In 2024, she released a sad but upbeat pop song called <a href="spotify:album:7rnoK0zto7ZNoQXEfV34w5" data-name="Strangers Again">Strangers Again</a>, which is about two people who used to get along with each other but eventually became strangers.
This November 2025, she is set to release her first EP titled "Letters to Peter", which is a compilation of love letters to someone, told through songs that perfectly depict the genuine admiration for that person.
