Shane Tripp started out playing guitar in Grand Rapids, MI. He began writing songs as a teenager and played in several bands throughout the years, most notably The Sleeping Tribune, Petals Rang the Bell, Haunted Leather, and Suzies. He released his first solo album on January 1st, 2009 and gave it to his friends, then came an acoustic album in 2013 (A Messy Message). After putting a band together, he released Silk Challenge (2015) and Brain Drip (2018).
Shane is now living in Asheville, NC and just released his self-recorded 5th solo album Numb Numbs (2021). He is also an active member of The Soods, based in Grand Rapids.
