Hello!
I’m Shania and I’m a 25 year-old independent singer-songwriter from London. From as young as I can remember I’ve always loved music. All sorts of genres and sounds! my dad was a big garage fan, my mum loved RNB, and I had a pink 2000s kids' speaker I’d constantly play my pop party cds on. I guess this wide exposure to different sounds is why I’m not bound by genres in my music. I love to experiment with styles, and sounds and jump on songs I’m feeling, regardless of the genre.
In my time I’ve released singles alongside an EP. This debut EP being Bloom an energetic, yet mellow synth pop project about falling from happiness and deciding to “bloom” again. amazingly produced by Koloto. One of the tracks, Lilac was even played on Clairo’s NTS radio show segment. Then, with that another song from the project, Pear premiered on BBC Radio London.
To me, writing and singing is a form of expression, so it’s something I always see myself doing.
