Shannon Roszell

A powerhouse performer, Shannon Roszell is a singer-songwriter from the Kawartha Lakes, northeast of Toronto. Her sound is best characterized as symphonic indie rock, fusing orchestral voicings with searing electric guitar and vocals. Roszell has been likened to Joni Mitchell for her sense of melodic freedom and the direct connectivity of her lyrics.

Entirely relatable and incredibly raw, this song digs at what lost love feels like, years later after people have moved on with their lives. Some are happily married. Others are committing themselves to unhealthy vices, staining their lips red with wine, praying that more than
one glass a night is actually good for your health.
