Shanrae Cheree Price

Shanrae Cheree Price is an accomplished songwriter, singer and producer. She has worked in the music industry for over Twenty-eight years. Her singing career began to take off when she started singing with a music group called “The Daryl Douglas Ensemble;”. The Daryl Douglas Ensemble got the call to sing back up for George Michael back in December of 1991 when he performed at the world-famous Madison Square Garden which was the first major secular artist she’s performed with. After the performance with Mr. Michael, Shanrae; and sister Kelly Price were asked to perform at the 1992 Grammy Awards with Mariah Carey. One day during rehearsal, she and her sister were having fun singing and Mariah overheard them. Mariah Carey quickly asked her manager Randy Hoffman and president of Sony at the time, Tommy Matola, to consult both ladies about being her background singers. Shanrae Cheree Price during her career, she was able to branch out and perform with other artist such as C&C Music Factory, Aretha Franklin, Baby Face, Luther Vandross, Gloria Estefan, Ann Nesby, Full Force, Montell Jordan, C-Lo, Jamaine Dupri and also, sang background for featured artist on Bad Boy Tour and the list goes on...

Shanrae released her solo project called “Long Time Coming” January 20th, 2018 which has soared. Shanrae’ s new single “I Try” has been released June 2020. Shanrae’ is excited for what the year 2020 has in store for her.
