Shanty B is also a talented actress. She is in a new tv series call Get Millie Black which aired on HBO tv /Stream on Max on February 25, 2024. She plays the character of a Superintendent.
She has done several collaborations, one such lead her to copping the AWSL Music Awards 2019 in England. The track was “Oh Mama”
She has worked with some of the top Producers such as Sly and Robbie, Fatta Marshall, DJ Vadim Peare out of France, Peckings Production & Frenchie of Maximum sound in England respectively just to name a few.

Shanty B: “I am just doing me and doing what I love best and that is music. I love, cherish, respect and protects my craft. I respect all those who paved the road for me especially females, hence I don’t believe in trying to take anyone’s place or who should resign I think that’s rude and see one as a coward. I love to be in the mix though, (big laugh), with the giants of course because it only coerces me to do better. I don’t have to be at the top (she smiles), as long as I am in the mix and people know Shanty B and her powerful music I am good with that. My music is bigger than me and will definitely last longer than me so I protect it. My music will be my legacy, my family’s wealth. My music is my pension.
