Sharif D

Sharif D is most commonly known for his trademark sax ad-lib performances through out the Brisbane club and bar scene. However it has been his music production that has been on the steady rise for the past few years.
Firstly signing with UK electronica label Summer rain recordings (in 2008) and then signing over to German label Diventa Music (2010), his early release's delved more into Down Tempo, Trip Hop and Acid jazz. However with his on going musical experience in the club scene Sharif's production has slowly moved towards Nu Disco and House vibes.


His most recent release has been with rising star/producer and DJ <a href="spotify:artist:5i6oTI7gaBKg3TOgryPQir" data-name="Bust-R">Bust-R</a> signed to Central Station Records (2018). Bringing forth some big Summer Vibes and gaining the attention of some big names of
the industry.


Sharif is also a key member (writing and producing) with his group <a href="spotify:album:2qqqqSuv2iKyfUdxn8yWrM" data-name="Date Night">Date Night</a> alongside band mates Mike Dean and Anders Magnusson. <a href="spotify:album:2qqqqSuv2iKyfUdxn8yWrM" data-name="Date Night">Date Night</a> has accumulated a large amount of success within the 3 years since they began. Accolades include multiple air play on JJJ, reaching No.3 on the Aria Dance Charts (2016) as part of the L&#39;tric 1994 release package, reaching no.21 on the Spotify Viral Charts (2016), nominated for APRA song of the year (2016), self released album (2016) amongst other various growing accomplishments.
Sharif has also appeared on Rage with band mate Mike Dean for their film clip to &#39;Always’.
