Unapologetic guitar-pop for the ex vine scholar. Sharpie is the stage name of Songwriter, Ollie Sharp; formerly the front man of Indie Band, <a href="spotify:artist:2xWbLLHkThUoAUU9XABMRY" data-name="Longcoats">Longcoats</a>
Inspired by his childhood heroes such as Busted & McFly, as well as the Emo & Pop Punk scene of the 00's, Sharpie's music is big, catchy and bombastic with lyrics that every twenty-something can find solace in and relate to.
Sharpie's current project is a trilogy of EP's that document life in his 20's starting with his debut EP 'SHARPIEWAZHERE' which is out now.
Whilst this EP has a very Indie Pop Rock feel, it is easy to see where the influences are drawn and certain production choices should leave a nice tease for where his music has been and is going.
Expect scenes of heartbreak, mental health struggles and growing up in these turbulent times.
