Shawn Lov

Shawn Lov began his career as a recording artist in Trenton NJ with the release of his first LP &#39;<a href="spotify:album:4hedwytC0eVdm3kaUkltYW" data-name="Speak of the Devil">Speak of the Devil</a>&#39; in 1994, which led to guest appearances including Video Music Box (1994-1995), performing as the opener for <a href="spotify:artist:62oOlQ9jIcGoLbhm03UVk9" data-name="King Sun">King Sun</a>, Mobb Deep, Big Pun and Ol&#39; Dirty Bastard (1995), and as a musical guest on The Jenny Jones Show (1998). By 1997, Shawn Lov was working with the legendary Hip-Hop producer <a href="spotify:artist:34gs7qAqxI5mHrGygTIw2H" data-name="Tony D">Tony D</a> (of <a href="spotify:artist:1j6sK1bUYK36UNfLjdOfFy" data-name="Poor Righteous Teachers">Poor Righteous Teachers</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:7mQbdI0QaWJPgu8ffgtKa6" data-name="YZ">YZ</a> fame) which led to the release of his second LP &#39;<a href="spotify:album:2rfJJjTDmqEvw3ykfbrJ6c" data-name="The G.O.D.">The G.O.D.</a>&#39; in 1998. By the year 2000 Shawn Lov began topping charts online and quickly gained an underground following with albums like &#39;<a href="spotify:album:0BvMVE4sGQ2jZc7M6ra6u2" data-name="Never Never Land">Never Never Land</a>&#39;. In 2004 a partnership with overseas label Nuffsaid Records helped introduce Shawn Lov to an international audience leading to his 2007 album ‘<a href="spotify:album:1bBC37wWRQpymo46vevgTR" data-name="Waiting for a Ghost">Waiting for a Ghost</a>&#39; receiving praise by Rolling Stone magazine. Shawn Lov has collaborated with <a href="spotify:artist:4xlnKEcLzFYoxRmAuxI2Yt" data-name="Pacewon">Pacewon</a> of <a href="spotify:artist:4AvdGNovUBqGUXfIV60c3P" data-name="Outsidaz">Outsidaz</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7fDLDq2weBagiAFD2j17Al" data-name="Sadat X">Sadat X</a> of <a href="spotify:artist:3YyZFf9ZN2YbkqeZia8zHX" data-name="Brand Nubian">Brand Nubian</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6DlRKPBLhSYo0KbxVPljBk" data-name="Pumpkinhead">Pumpkinhead</a> and many other incredible artists over the years. In 2010 Shawn released &#39;<a href="spotify:album:1R2ekfov6wUOEjQReZv835" data-name="The S. O. N.">The S. O. N.</a>&#39; a self-produced EP to show and prove that he can hold his own on the boards as well as the mic. In 2016 he released his final LP &#39;<a href="spotify:album:4rJnkYJt511iFBDOqHYp59" data-name="Escape from Never Never Land">Escape from Never Never Land</a>&#39; a follow-up to the original LP he released almost two decades earlier proving he is still one of rawest, most impassioned rappers in the underground. Shawn Lov is currently focusing on production with RAIDEN as &#39;<a href="spotify:artist:4lkNOKdLxY344RS7p8NlmA" data-name="Metal Gear Beats">Metal Gear Beats</a>&#39;.
