Shayan Italia

Shayan Italia is born to a Zoroastrian Parsi family in Hyderabad city, India. He is a multi global-award winning musician and songwriter. When he was just a boy, Shayan lost both his Mum and Dad within a year of each other; his Mum to Multiple Myeloma (Cancer of The Bone Marrow) and his Dad to Multiple Sclerosis.

Prior to passing away, his Mum requested his Dad buy him a piano. She never lived to see him play it. Shayan wrote his first song on that piano and has been prolifically writing since.

Shayan Italia's heartfelt rendition of the Indian National Anthem, an ode to his Mum, became the most viewed national anthem of any country ever, at that time, immortalising India’s crown jewel and cementing him as a musical game changer. In honour of his service, the Govt of India presented the “Global Indian Of the Year” award to Shayan Italia.

REFLECTION | प्यार तू था, ना भी था marks his debut song release and is the largest audio production of a Hindi song ever, featuring 150 legendary International musicians. The song releases 14.02.2025.
