Shaykeh, who is also an abstract painter isn’t new to artistic expression and has now found a way to skillfully forge a creative path in melodious, easy flowing, and seductive music. Influenced musically by great musicians like Asa, Bob Marley, Teyana Taylor, Tay Iwar, Sabrina Claudio, Wizkid, BOJ and so on, Shaykeh has been able to find a perfect balance creating music specifically to her artistic taste.
Nigerian multidisciplinary artist, Seke “Shaykeh” Fowode has been honing her skills in music for the past several years. Originally a talent and brand manager, managing young talents in the Nigerian Industry, Shaykeh has always had a special ear for music with a strong experience in A&R and executive production, she trained herself to sing so she could also bring her own melodies, stories and experiences to life through music.
