She'Chinah

Ordinary is far from the adjectives used to describe artist She’Chinah. Singing for as long as she can remember, the Memphis native started her love for music within her church choir. Unable to listen to the faintest notes of secular music during her youth, She’Chinah didn’t find her voice until years later. "Music loved me first really, so I fell for it back.” As a senior in high school, She’Chinah began placing her lyrical transparency to paper in (early/late) 2014. A year later during her matriculation into the University of Memphis, she strived to further develop her musical career while recording features for other fellow musicians. Originating from a musically inclined family, her calm yet heavy voice has finally found its place. Her debut EP, “Solitaire”, was released in 2018, followed by her sophomore project " Based On A True Story" in 2022.

"I am so excited to share where I am now. We've been through a pandemic, I've turned into a woman, I'm actually hot now....*laughs* there are just so many differences in my life. I am excited to share how that has translated through the music." She'Chinah shares she is excitedly waiting for her upcoming release in January 2024.
