Seattle-based singer/songwriter Shelby Earl’s rock-edged reflections incorporate elements of country, blues, and folk. Her full-length debut, Burn the Boats, was produced by John Roderick (<a href="spotify:artist:7fu6ebyL3JGXJgo5zsOo4k">Harvey Danger</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6zdwVjGPgGGZ7W5oBcisP2">the Long Winters</a>) and released by <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Local+638+Records%22">Local 638 Records</a> in 2011. With production by <a href="spotify:artist:79JJCxCCfJ8HufX6w8q2k4">Damien Jurado</a>, much of her 2013 follow-up, the self-released Swift Arrows, was recorded in Seattle's Columbia City Theater. She signed with <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Nine+Mile+Records%22">Nine Mile Records</a> for her third LP, The Man Who Made Himself a Name, which arrived in 2017.
