This song is about me coming out of darkness back into God’s light. I grew up in church but was caught up in trying to do right rather than in my relationship with Christ. This only gets you so far. You can’t be afraid of hell and expect that to make you do the right thing. It took me awhile to realize that my salvation is in Christ alone and not in what I do. Once I got a real relationship with Christ, there was no turning back. I may fall but I get right back up again. God is my everything and I ain’t going back!
