London based rapper and vocalist, SHEN, GI first came on the scene after releasing a single and music video for her brand, By Kueno. She describes herself as “flirty rap”, with her soft seductive voice and intelligent lyricism. Coming from a musical background, SHEN, GI has been playing the cello since the age of 6. As well as being a self taught guitarist and her vocal talent she gets from her mother, who has been in the church choir since the early 90s. SHEN, GI often performed locally and in school. SHEN, GI was encouraged to stretch her musical talents further than just brand promotion. Focussing her lyrics on life experiences and anything that interests her.
