Hailing from Singapore, Sherman Lim 林盛文 is a singer, songwriter, and dancer with a knack for evoking strong emotions and sentiments through relatable narratives. Sherman’s music journey began as a way to express intricate feelings through songwriting, where words fail. His first release “Wither” (Chinese 蝴蝶) is chosen as a movie theme song for Golden Horse nominated film “Geylang” (Chinese 芽籠) by award-winning Singaporean director Boi Kwong. The melancholic soft rock song explores the challenges faced by the characters in “Geylang”, whilst expressing love in many forms, including love for your calling, your freedom, and your truest self.


Prior to his music career, Sherman took on adventures in game design, fashion modeling, and skateboarding. Hoping to reach out to like-minded individuals from all walks of life, Sherman Lim 林盛文 is no doubt well on his way to becoming one of the most exciting acts to take the stage in recent years.
