Sherwood Roberts is an award-winning composer, pianist and producer from Berkshire whose relationship with music stretches back to childhood. As head chorister at Salisbury Cathedral, he toured South Africa, was selected for the prestigious Boys Air Choir — resulting in two album releases and a sell-out concert at the Tokyo Opera House — and recorded at AIR Studios on Hans Zimmer's The Prince of Egypt soundtrack. That early grounding in choral and orchestral craft has remained the bedrock of everything he has made since.

His career as a performer saw him in bands supporting Grimes, Frank Turner and Bastille at venues including The Roundhouse, the Royal Albert Hall and the Royal Festival Hall. In 2020, he returned to AIR Studios to launch his contemporary classical project, releasing his debut album Beginnings — a record drawing on the introspective minimalism of Ryuichi Sakamoto, the harmonic richness of Frédéric Chopin and the structural clarity of Philip Glass.

His latest single Into the Unknown from his upcoming 3rd studio album Connection to Identity, is out now, a piano string quintet collaboration with arranger Daniel Springate recorded with Producer Gus White.
