Alatise Mujeeb Olashile popularly known as 'Shillz Tex' is a versatile musical artist, songwriter and performer. Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria but currently resides in the United States. Referencing artists like, Micheal Jackson, Lil wayne, J. Cole, Wizkid, Burna Boy and a few others, shows how wide his arsenal is making him one of the most versatile among his peers, He won awards for the 'Best Artist' and 'Best single' in the University he graduated from with a B.Sc in Computer Science and Information Technology.
Shillz Tex has been releasing unofficial singles as far back as 2010. Featuring former DMW house producer, Fresh VDM and artist Dremo on his first official single in 2016 titled ‘Ballin’ and since then gone to release 3 EPs (Know Shillz Tex, Cloud X, KSTV2), 2 mixtapes (Back track, Sign), 5 singles, his follow up to his debut EP “Know Shillz Tex, Vol.2” which include hits like ZaZa and Angelina. His most recent hit singles “Papi Chulo” and “Astronaut” are predicted to be off his projected “CloudXI” EP.
While tapping into Rap, Afrobeats and RnB, Intending to stay true to who he is, he draws inspiration from his personal life and environment.
